Another Adventure!

So, usually when I go on adventures, I go alone. But today, I went with Lanie and Gwen. I had a map with me, and as I was telling them to go left, Lexii got a picture of us. It's so cute! Hehe :) Today we just explored the front yard, Lanie wanted to get samples of some plants she had never seen, but she didn't. I don't remember why, I think Gwen was complaining how wet the plants were. However, I just wanted to go on a Nature Adventure and see if we'd find any monkeys. Lexii keeps telling me there are no monkeys in our front yard, but I'm always looking. You just wait, one day when I'm all alone in the front yard, I WILL find a monkey. Then, everyone will respect me. Yeah, that'll be the day. Well, here are some pictures, talk to you guys soon!

I Earned A Dollar!

Well, today I was expecting an outdoor photo-shoot. Sadly, it was too cold out! :(

Stuck inside, I thought I might do some work around the doll room. You should've seen Gwen! Ugh, it took me about twenty minutes just to find her pillow! Hehe :)

Anyways, after I was done, Lexii called me over to her desk. I thought I was in trouble for an odd reason, but then she handed me... a dollar! :) I was pretty excited, you don't see a lot of dolls getting dollars around here; you have to admit that! :) Anyways, I'm going to save my dollar, and hopefully, if I work super hard, I can buy something from American Girl! Maybe new shoes? Or a scarf and hat for the cold weather! :)

Hey Everyone! It's Jess!
Well, for the past week it's been raining like crazy! We even had tornado warnings! Can you believe that? It's a good thing I stayed inside the whole time, otherwise I would've been ruined! Well, today is Saturday, and the sun finally decided to wake up and come out! So, I was sleeping then woke up around 9:00. I was in Lanie's Nightgown (It's so comfy!) :), and I asked Lexii if she could take me outside, and she did! Although it was sunny, it was freezing!
Lexii took a few pictures of me, so here they are! (Sorry for bad quality!)

An Exciting First Post!

Hello, American Girl Lovers and other people! This is Jess Akiko McConnell blogging here! I am an American Girl Doll, Girl of the Year 2006 to be more specific. Well, this is technically my blog, filled with adventures and great stories to tell. You might think this first post isn't exactly an "adventure" but it is! You see, on Saturday, January 9th, 2010, I had a great adventure! An adventure to the American Girl Place LA! If you keep up with all of the American Girl News, you'd be familiar that Lanie, the new Girl of the Year 2010, recently came out on January 1st, 2010. Well, on Saturday, we went to get her! :)
She is gorgeous! Her curls are gorgeous too! She is the first doll that Lexii (My Mom/Girl who owns me) has with super curly hair! We're still getting the hang of how to take care of it. But all in all, she's amazing! Her green eyes are the best part. I think Lanie and I will have great adventures, since we both love nature! Well, that's my first post!
